i just wanted to tell you ,that YES, valium is the best muscle relaxer out. it is for anxiety-it`s not a narcotic,it`s got a bad reputation from people abusing it & the doc`s will put you on any thing else, because it is addicting. look for older doc`s who care more about patient than the new trash in medicine that the pharmacetical companies are pushing-i do not have any faith in these new drugs a lot of personal exprience.i have major aniexty & bi- polar,so i `ve been quite the guinee pig. good luck also i fractured 2 vertabras in my spine -so i know back pain hey doc ,down there -are you my lost twin brother?"-1st time anyone gave exact same answer as me.

You don't need Valium! Are you suffering from any terminal illness? These are the only people who need any sort of narcotic no pain or anxiety problem is worth the troubles of addiction. We all feel pains or mental disorders for a reason! Try and figure out why you need to calm down. Seek a mental Health professional. Before going for the drugs..................You want a good life????? Stay off of the drugs!!!...........The pain is there for a reason listen to your doctor!!!! Stetch and strenthen you muscles!!!!!!!!

There's lots of medications that are far more effective in treating muscle spasms than Valium.
Have you tried Flexeril? That's always worked wonderfully for me when my back spasms.
Just get a second opinion if you are not happy with the way your doctor is treating your condition. Be sure to get copies of all your medical files to bring with you, so the new doctor knows your past medical history. Otherwise, he won't be able to give you an accurate second opinion.
Hope this helps!

Boston Rocks!
When I was going to school there, (In Salem) I spent a lot of saterdays off of Cambridge street I believe by that park where the statue/ the round statue is. There is this bum that hangs out with a big see through bag full of bottles of everything. Go see if he still hangs out there.

I get bad muscle spasms and valium isn't a muscle relaxant, it's a depressant. Have you tried massage? or a Chiropractor? Those are what works for me.

Sounds like you are drug seeking ,if you have seen a doctor for this condition he would have prescribed medications.See a physician or your local general medicine clinic .....

Maybe shes scared you'll get addicted to them, if you aren't already. I hope not.. but theres alot of Pharmacies online that allow you to purchase pain killers, and such, some do require a prescription and some don't ..Just google it..

valium shouldn't be used for this. Everything is a narcotic if you use it too much
