Recognize that you have exactly the results you intended...

Want something different? Put you mind to work and grab a vision to make new choices. Behavior follows belief.

So it is very simple: new choices.

Try any or all of these things:

Pray -- be still and know that the Lord is in control; ask and listen for His voice to speak to you

Set a new goal in your life and begin to pursue it

Take some time off -- you might need rejuvanation

Get a new job doing what you absolutely love doing

Go out and buy some new clothes -- treat yourself

Volunteer somewhere -- work at a homeless shelter or become a Big Brother/Big Sister

Commit to something that requires you to really stretch

Express gratitude to five people each day for the next week -- send them a note or an email or phone them and thank them for being in your life

I have fibbed a few times to get out of a rut; obviously not the best solution, but it has worked. Other than that, it's best to avoid ruts at all costs.

a rut, living what. If it living you need to take a deep breath, gather your courage and change your position or job and get on with living. Do not buy things when you really don't need them and focus on what you have as a goal. Make a goal, and stick to it. You will find that will will happen sooner than you think.

Reach for the stars if you fall a bit short, hell, you do damn good in life!

Start with small obtainable goals that lead to a bigger one. but these goals should not be relating to others (ie realtionships) or be dependent on others, you need goals that you control. if you have a goal, its a way out and although it may take sometime time to achieve, it is amazing how much easier a situation is to deal with if you know it is only temporary or if you can see and work toward a way out. if your goal is a big one, that will take a long time to achieve, break it down into stages so it does not appear to daunting and so that you feel you are accomplisinh something and don't lose motivation. a career change, a holiday a new car, a new house.

or find a hobby that you enjoy something you can do to make life seem a little more worthwhile.

there is always a way out, you just have to find it and work toward it one small step at a time, it may require hard work and dedication but if you want out, you will find a way.

Pick something you want to try, and do it. Like, if you want to try dancing, then sign up for a class and go. Or, if you are in a relationship rut, find something you want to do together, and try it. Make a goal to do one new thing every week/month/whatever time frame, and then make a list of the new things you have tried and whether you liked it or not.

Try something that you would never ordinarily do on any given day. This includes things as mundane as trying a new food, wearing a different style of clothes, getting a different haircut, etc. Or, something dramatic as taking a class in the martial arts, joining a gym, taking an exotic vacation, or learning a craft or skill such as painting, sculpting, writing, etc. On new and different roads, the scenery changes, people speak, act, and talk a little differently, and you may discover something about life, or yourself, that you never knew before and a whole new journey begins.

Depends on how deep it is, dear. Some people make mountains out of molehills and some canyons out of ruts. You appear to be young so just snap out of it. PICK YOURSELF UP!!!

depends on the rut..if its depression, get out & be sociable, work in the public, seek medical help... if its financial... figure your bills & make a budget, try cutting back on expenses & put more towards bills to get them paid off. if its just a "funk" ... try looking into things you havent tried yet, get out & be sociable...
