well, muscle weighs more than fat, so if the kid in you class has more muscle developement than you then he might be smaller and more "built" than you even if he weighs more.
Your weight will shif and change as you get older, so don't worry too much about your weight right now, because as puberty kicks in you will probably experience more muscle growth.
If you want to see some changes more quickly you should try eating healthy (more fruits and veggies and whole grains and less junk food and meat) and do some light exercise.

omg dude - youre 12 dont worry about **** like that - and working out heavily at 12 can do more harm than good - just go play and have fun - enjoy the time you have and not worry about trivial stuff

MAYBE U SHOULD TRY AND DROP ABOUT 15 POUNDS... TRY CUTTING BACK ON THE JUNK FOOD AND SODA... TRY AND START BEING MORE ACTIVE... TAKE UP WALKING TRY WALKING AT LEAST 2 MILES A DAY A GRADUALLY INCREASE THE WEIGHT WILL COME OFF GUARANTEED

you might wanna talk to your dr first and ask him to give u a stress test to see if weight-lifting/working out is ok . good luck

don't worry about weight at 12 years old
people grow and change, people grow into their body...just watch what you eat & excercise...do anything fun outside (volleyball, baseball, football, soccer, rollerblade, etc)
