based on the full parking lot, i'd say the general answer is "no". unless the high price of gasoline has made people think twice about driving HOME from wal-mart.

Some walmart's around here are opening up there own gas stations next to the store. Then they offer gas at like 5-10 cents under what every other gas station is charging. Soon I'm guessing Wal-Mart will take control of gasoline sales since they have huge superstores to maintain their profits, they can afford to drop gas prices.

The nearest Wal-Mart is 35 minutes away, so I only go when I have a laundry list of items I need!

...well yes, but this didn't just start recently...I found that when gas was hitting $2 gal. Walmart was too far...and I ALWAYS spend WAY more than I have, so I really limit my Walmart trips....whereas I use to LIVE in Wamart.

It more makes me wish I'd bought an electric car when they came out DECADES AGO! Even though I'd have to go out of my way to get one since the "fat cats" in the oil business blocked mass production, I could have and SHOULD have!

no, it makes us all drive to wal-mart. you can make 1 trip and get everything. save on gas and everything else. thanks wal-mart. your the greatest!
