my girlfriend might be pregnant and i want to know how long before she starts having signs and what is the first sign

the first sign difrents from one woman to another as a matter of fact for the same woman it differs between one pregnancy & another

it just depends, some women are more sensitive than others. Some don't have any symptoms at first, some get them right away. With my daughter I was only 2 weeks along when i found out, from a kidney infection.
My son i had a panic attack I was only about a week and a half. But for the most part the missing the first period and usually pretty tired. The vomitting will start in a few weeks, somethign to look forward to, lol.

well from being preg myself 5 times ..i can tell u not all people have signs of being preg. but they do sell preg test that u can take like a week before your period starts well in your case your girlfriend an it will tell you,an there are some people an it has happen to me before 2 out of the 5 times i was preg that can be preg an still have a period..but for the most part 1 of the first signs of being preg in nausea,an missed period.so my suggestion is for her to go ahead an take a preg test

Not all women miss their period. There are a variety of signs. The way I knew I was pregnant was that I started eating more. Her breasts might become tender, she might be extra emotional, or she may get morning sickness.

her breasts will be more sensitive and bigger, she will feel sick or start eating little snacks all the time and tired. Those are the first symptoms. If she normally has regular periods, and she is late, thats a good sign. If she isnt regular anyway, then look for the other signs. For me it shows early....when i miss my period, im usually throwing up a couple days later. Good luck!

First sign is the missed period. IF she is late she can take a test > If it is negative but she still doesnt start she should test again in 3 days.

She can miss her next period or have light bleeding. Her breasts will be tender she maybe getting headaches. She maybe tired maybe alittle moody. You best bet is wait 5 days before her missed period then take a test then if its neg and she doesnt get her period take another test 5 days after her missed period. This should be helpful

You will miss your next period, after you become pregnant you will not have a period, altho there maybe some light bleeding confused with a period.

My mom had her period all through out her pregnancy when she was pregnant with me. See a doctor if you'd like to know for sure... some women have slight or no symptoms.
