Just a little extra info for your question!!! You didn't ask for north but I find it cool. its a little tiny town where I am from.

back in the 90s, the US government did a study from the census to find the population center of the USA. It was Webster Groves, MO, which is just west of St Louis. The center of population continues to move westward. However, the center is still in mid-Missouri
