Who the hell does Condi Rice think she is with her little tv broadcast to the Cuban people (who won't even see it). Shouldn't she be in the Middle East stopping the Jews from killing more kids anyway?

Well, I believe that there is more to the situation than you and I will ever know, so there are obviously reasons. Why interfere in Cuba? Perhaps because it's the closest unfriendly country to the U.S., but that's just one reason.
The real question is can you ask a question without radically generalizing the situation, such as saying "stopping the Jews from killing more kids". I don't think its Jews killing anyone more so than it is the Israelli military, and last I checked, both Israel and Lebanon have created innocent casualties in this latest confrontation. If you want the US to stay out of Cuba, why dont you start by keeping your widely skewed political opinions to yourself... and then vote every November.

Condi is the spokesperson for the State Department. Many people working in the State Department make up the policy. Why they are so antagonistic against Cuba after all these years beats me. It probably has to do with money and wealthy people who were run out of Cuba when Castro took over have lined the pockets of people in Washington for many years now.

The US has as much right as any other country. Cuba stopped listening a long time ago.
The Embargo on Cuba is the main thing that keeps Castro in Power. it gives the Cuban peole focus to support him.

I want to know about anything that is going on 90 miles from my shore. Next to N. Korea, Cuba is one of the most repressive governments in the world. Remember Cuba is communist.

1. We have done nothing to Cuba nor do we have plans to.
2. Jews are fighting the terrorist group Hezbollah that was formed by syria and Iran. It is unfortunate that some innocent civilians get hurt in war....but thats how it is. The jews are not trying to kill kids.

you are a complete idiot, cuba is controled by a rouge goverment who will invite americas enimies at any time to set up military bases like in the early 60's and not to mention the cuban goverment gives no rights to its people, and as for isreal, isreal has the right to defend itself from terrorist and people who support terrorist like you, why is it that 90 percent of terrorist are arab? do you think there might be a pattern there? if you can't figure that out then you do not need to inquire about adult conversasions, i think isreal should nuke everyone then ask questions later, arabs are evil and they have always been evil, its about time someone does something about them
