i could say The devil's Rejects could ask your self maximum. that's classic Rob Zombie humour however the violence/gore etc are particularly heavy going. of direction there are the greater mainstream Hostel and observed video clips in case you're searching for the blood and wince ingredient. And the scariest could be counted on what class. as an occasion The Strangers for it being jumpy. Halloween for being an all time classic and particularly frightening. Or The Blair Witch for perhaps suspense. it rather relies upon on the guy i think of although =]

The original Salem's Lot scared the hell out of me.

A close second is a movie called The Sentinel.
1977, Chris Sarandon and John Carradine along with a host of hollywood stars. Very scary.

The Devil's Advocate.
I saw the movie in a theater expecting a Drama Style movie. A good portion into the movie passed and all seemed well. Very good, and the pace was good. Unexpectedly a woman's face morphed into a slight Demonic grin. It freaked me out to no end. Gave me chills.

From that point on, the movie got stranger and stranger. It has a twisted end, so I won't spoil it.

You gotta see it.

The original exorcist scared the crap out of me when I saw it! It just seems so real. It seems like something that could actually happen unlike most scary movies.

movies haven't been scary since i was a kid. do love the gory stuff though. the re-animator, violent s**t 3, premutos lord of the living dead, and brain dead are good.

"Alien", not those cheesy sequels. Just that first one, with the acid dripping, shadowy, bloodthirsty alien running amok in a space ship loaded with strobe lights.
