Yes I do. And do YOU know that it is the most dangererous collegiate level sport? be careful, make sure you are doing it correctly and HAVE FUN!!
PLEASE PLEASE do not people who call your sport stupid affect your belief in it. I am a long distance runner and people say running is a hobby and I have to blow it off too.
I wish ANSWERS had a category for both of us...

I think competitive cheerleading could be considered a sport, but cheering for the football and basketball games is an activity. definitely not a sport.

Not really....I wouldn't consider dance a sport and cheerleading and dance are pretty much the same thing. I'm not saying it's not hard work, but I don't think it's a sport.

Yes I think so...I love to watch the cheerleaders. I wish I could have been a cheerboy and lifted you girls up by your butts.

I think it is pathetic that anyone would even need to try to qualify their existence as to whether or not CHEERLEADING is a sport.
You can jump and dance and do all you want and all anyone is thinking is this:
females: "Stupid bimbos"
males: "Nice ***"
It matters not one damn bit whether or not you can feel fulfilled by calling your little extracurricular activity a SPORT.

Most definitely. They practice...have to stretch...and it takes hard work to learn routines.
