Jeff Goldblum, I think he does a great performance as a nervous man with constant hand gesture talking to the point he is wonderful because he never shuts up in his movies. Nicholas Cage, He has this quiet suddle cool mannerisum when he talks that I think is really different from the actors that scream alot. What are your thoughts on the 2????

i like both of them. born Nicholas Coppola later changed to cage, i believe he is the director and producer Francis ford Coppola's nephew, yea your right he has that quiet side kind of like a cool hand Luke type, and when called upon he gets it done. that is his style, he came to Hollywood with Sean Penn they were best friends, for quite a while, and played parts in fast times at ridgemont high, 1982 it also launched the careers of others like, Eric stoltz, judge Reinhold, forest Whitaker and Jennifer Jason Leigh who i happen to think is very underrated and a very good actress, it was sad that Sean broke off his friendship with Nicholas, Sean accused him of making cheap, adventure types, and what he called corny movies, well Sean always was very opinionated! and critical of others! sean is a great actor also. I think Nicholas played a great part in moonstruck opposite Cher, i believe that was the movie that really set his name in stone, yea he made a few movies that did not make big money at the box office but they were good movies i think people today are to critical of actors. i mean they expect a academy performance from every movie and that's not possible, matchstick men was very good. i even liked, it could happen to you! and overall i think he is a very fine actor. now Jeff goldblum is a different type of actor he plays a more cynical type of role usually a very intellectual serious and nervous and in your face kind of guy but not mean! but once you break the ice he is down to earth, and he tells it like it is ,i like that. i think his role in the Fly was great. also independence day was a great movie for him, again he is telling everybody the truth but they won't listen! his jurassic park roles were also great, again the cynic he is saying this stuff is not right! and proves it again. i really like his acting i think he really puts his heart and soul in it. and his high iq! i wish he would make some more movies.

Jeff Goldblum is really good. He's eclectic and is fun to watch on the screen. Nicholas Cage can be good but he has a few real bombs in his background. Both are semi type cast but I think they both are good actors.
