I took the FCAT back in 2000 as a high school sophomore (this was before they added the dreadful Science subsection). To me, it was fairly easy since I made a "6" on Florida Writes, "5" on FCAT Math, and "5" on FCAT Reading. Nevertheless, I object to the politicization of the test since most folks in the Florida legislature probably even pass it and pressure high school sophomores with the "If you do not pass, you do not get a regular diploma or even graduate!" Hell, give the test to the late Lawton Chiles and Jeb Bush they probably realize the hell that they put my friends through. Twelve of my friends did not graduate because of it. The test may have been easy for me because I was in honors classes (which is more demanding than "regular" classes like my friends and thus pour it on you). Sorry I want to vent but I am still mad one of my friends got a special diploma over not passing FCAT and the tweleve people who resorted to dropping out. Overall, its overrated and hype.

i took them...... they are easy...i guessed on my science one because it did not count for our class because they were just introducing the science FCAT to us for the first time and they told us that we wont have to take FCATS after 10th grade but then we had to take the science one in 11th...it was easy i got a 4 by skimming through the pages and all....
