Good quality paint job 3K+ ($3000-5000) or you can get the poor mans special at a discount shop or Maaco!

I got my Toyota Tacoma painted at Macao for $900. Not the best job but decent, if you just want your car painted. I can't remember how much more it would have been to do the door jambs because I painted the same color.

Good quality is 1,500 +++ and up...(dallas Texas area)
Macco / Lucky / Earl Shibes - $250.00

Depends on body damage (if any) present color and the color you want to make it; black to yellow - not cheap // yellow to black - not cheap (hard to cover, hard to make look good)

plus how far you want to go.
Just door jams no under the hood and in the trunk lowers the price. Full trunk, Jams, and Under the hood (motor removal) raises the cost.

Laser Red Pearl Metalic 2C is 450.00 per pint (Base / Top)
White is 50.00 per pint.

Body work (bondo) is 25.00 per square inch.
Body work (lead) is 150.00 per square inch.

Prep is 12.00 per panel (scuff for shoot)
(all prices estimated at local shops to me, it could vary a bit depending on where you live)

Full bare metal strip of the car, interior removed, drive train removed, glass removed - build up from raw metal with House of Color / Sikkens Autoclear (most shifting color metalics) with Highlight offset Pearl and hand sanded clear / multi coat (4 coats after flash coat) - flat sand between coats 24 hours box bake 24 hours sun (IR) bake - hand compound --- IE: Show quality job :: $12,000.00 total time to do work 90 days.
