I live in tennessee, and if i put the zip code of the nearest county to mine will my phone work or will i have to buy a new phone, any help please

if i were you i would take it back to the place of purchase and ask for a refund and buy a t-mobile cell phone. after i have never had any problems with my t-mobile at all. i tried all of the others and found out that most/ all the others are either gps compatable for a short time (1 year or less) then you have to buy another phone. but with t-mobile no matter where you live it is gaurenteed to be compatible with any calling area. i've been with t-mobile for quite some time now and i can go anywhere for 3,000 miles or more and never lose my singnal at all.
