I'm assuming you are talking about politics and not the stupid Yahoo Answers voting process. If so, your rhetorical question is dumb but I will give a brief answer anyway.
If you feel that all politicians are so awful, why don't you rock the boat and run as a 'reform' candidate and actually make a difference? Witholding your vote doesn't do jack. In fact, it's one less vote for the 'right' candidate, whoever that may be. Think about it on another, more extreme level. What kind of societies arise when there is no voting process?
