I had to get some dental work done while I was pregnant... The thing is, removing wisdom teeth is sort of invasive... I think yo should check with a dentist and tell him how long you've been pregnant too... My dentist refused to do any work on my teeth in the first semester, to make sure everything was doing OK with my pregnancy. If you wisdom teeth aren't bothering you, I'd suggest you wait until you have your baby to get them out.

the only thing they can do for you is local anethesia , the needles
hurt like hell 3 in each side of the gums. It took 3 seconds to pull out for each wisdom tooth. And yes i was pregnant
i was reading the other ladys comment about how her gyno was working with the dentist what a made up story

I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed two-weeks prior to giving birth to my son. The dentist worked with OBGYN to determine how it needed to be done and, in the end, I was not allowed to have anesthesia...not even a local. No novacaine (spell check). It was awful, awful, awful but there was no choice. I have a high tolerance for pain which helped but not that much!

I don't think any dentist would remove your wisdom tooth, you may just have to wait until after your baby is born. Sorry. Talk to your doctor and they may tell you a solution that will be safe for the baby!
I have my wisdom teeth trying to cut through now, it is actually quite funny on this end because my daughter is teething too. Both mommy and baby are teething. :-)

no you cant. you will have to wait until the baby is born because for one you will have to get x-rays done which is a no-no during pregnancy, two, its just not safe to be put under while pregnant, what if the baby decided he/she wanted to come out while you were being operated on? and three, you will need some strong pain medicine for afterwards which is also not safe for the baby. but if i were you i would try to schedule an appointment now, for after the baby is born, make it like 2 weeks after your due date, so that way when you can have the surgery you dont have to wait for an appointment any longer.

Unfortunately, there probably is not a Dentist in his right mind that will perform such a precedure while you are pregnant.
