If you do not have a security number, you are not here legally.
If you are a citizen, why don't you have a security number?
And how did you get a job without one?
To who's social security account are those taxes being credited?
Sounds like your employer is keeping those payments.
He has no where to send them.
What is a tax ID?
Forget a mortgage.

you need to be set up as a corporation with a Federal Id Number. That is the only way you can do it without a social security number. But then they always ask you to do a personal guarantee. he can NOT get a loan on a state's id number.
