Ha, I love that people think that you are insulting President Bush, but you are actually talking about "Pres Chimp" the nut job who incites hatred and makes my fellow democrats look bad.
Charlooch is right, you are very misunderstood on this site.
However, in actual response to your question, it is VERY doubtful that "PresChimp" served in the military. But I bet he would say his service doesn't matter because he opposes that war. He would probably tell you that people who support this particular war are the ones who should enlist.
Don't take any of the responses personally. I think this shows that Yahoo Answers is a place for people to get irrationally angry!

Of course not! He had Daddy get him the chickens*** way out during VietNam and got him in the Air National Guard where he went AWOL and never showed up for half the monthly meetings and still got an honorable discharge. Just shows you the power of money. And to think, the Bushites criticized John Kerry who went to VietNAm and was a war hero - they should all be slowly castrated for doing that.

An extension of your question is what percentage of politicians are going in to secure deferrments from serving themselves or their family, when they are in support of the wa that is going on now.
Yes it is one thing to support a war with other families children, quite another thing to believe so much in something that your own kids are in Iraq. My friend in CO is a new politician and her son just got home from Iraq. McCain's son is signing up for the Marines too.
Regardless of what side of the political fence you sit on, your question is viable, for sure.
I use Annenberg Political Fact Checker because of it's nonpartican approach to sorting out political spin-- of which BOTH sides of the political spectrum have their own spins.. This is a cool resource to tell fact from fiction I think. Here are the facts on Dubbya's record- http://factcheck.org/article.aspx?docID=131
