from 91 to 2000 was the best years for me and most prosperous financially. Everybody was happy too...The mid to late 70's were good until Reagan, I can remember. He destroyed complete States then..

Rock, says the mid to late 1970s were good, well i don't know what planet you were on, but i was down here on earth, 1976-1981 was a disaster. very bad regulation and very bad policy that had dire conscience's, a misery index of almost 22%, malaise, voter apathy, 21% interest rates,a very serious energy crisis that led to 2 mile long waits to get gas, on odd or even days. high unemployment, the takeover of Iran by the mullahs , the hostage crisis in Iran for 444 days, very bad military and very bad diplomacy that led to soviet and Cuban expansion in Africa and south America and the rest of the world, the super high tax's rates that led to loss of investment, and small and mid size business creation, how did a 22% misery index and 21% interest rates help the poor and middle class? it benefited the rich! put a $100,000 CD in the bank and collect 21% interest! again how did that help the poor and middle class? the 1980s were very good. and the 1990s were very good. and 2000-2008, is shaping up like 1976-1981. in a different opposite end of the spectrum way!

Well, it depends. I could say the 90's as well- total freedom, on my own, out every weekend-and it didn't matter, because I had nothing to do Saturday or Sunday. I was totally broke, but I had so much fun...
But I think I will say in am in my best decade. This decade has brought me a daughter, into grad school, into "adulthood"-and it turns out that responsibility still leaves plenty of time for fun too-and this time without the hangovers. :)

I think the music was better in the 60's but life was better in the 50's

Definitely the 90's. I was in college having fun, I got married, my wife had our daughter, and the future was looking bright...then G.W. and the rest of the neo-cons came along and ruined that future...
