but her boyfriend does not let her talk to me. She was my best friend. i see her every now and then because her boyfriend hangs around the same people i do. so its a real quick hi and bye.

it depends. I wanted to contact a friend from high school and found him on classmates.com. I would say go for it and try to contact them. You may not have anything in common anymore for a lasting friendship but a least you can catch up on each others lives.

well if your know there number call them of send them a letter saying hi and asking about them letter are more personal so i would go that way giving them the option to say hi
