Actually, one of my best friends, you guessed it, is my dog! He's a PeekaPoo, funny name, a cross between a Pekaneeze and a Poodle! He is Black and White, and not big at all, about the length of of magazine. He's always fun to be around because when I come home from work, he is never unhappy to see me. He is loyal, and not very smart, but it makes him happy to see me happy, and that makes me feel special. He's a friend you know will never back-stab you, or say mean things. That's what so great about having variety's of friends, it doesn't matter if they are a dog, they are still beings, and they will never hate you, or abuse you if you do the same to them. Just because animals aren't like people, doesn't mean that they should be treated any different. Any one who has a loyal, kind,loving dog, you know what it feels like to be loved, and not be cheated on, or have your heart broken by it. I think that dogs should be a part of any ones life, and still be treated as an equal. To all those people who have hunting dogs, and leave them out in the hot sun all day need to get a life, and be nicer to their pets. Its animal abuse, and in case you haven't noticed, that's against the law. Over 6000 dogs have died this summer in America from the heat, and that is a matter that we should take action for. I love dogs very much and I think that everyone should! ^_^

my best friend is a dog. her name is Brandi and she's a boarder collie/sheltie mix. i have had her for 16 years now. i am about to loose the "best" best friend i have ever had. Brandi has been at my side no matter what. she has been more faithful than any human ever could be. I didn't choose Brandi, she chose me at the pound. she untied my shoestring and sat down on my foot, then looked up at me and whined. after i told the guy that she was the one, then he told me he was so happy with my decision. she was to be put to sleep the very next day. Brandi and I in a way, saved each others lives. God Bless the dog (friend) lovers.

a big ole lug dog.
By lug, Imean a dog with rolls on his face and neck area.
It could be a hound mix, or bull dog or lab mix or anything on that line.
They have sad looking eyes.
and It wants me to try to be makin them happy or something and spoiling them rotten like a kid.
Take them for rides in the front seat of my car. and buy them doggie ice vream.
then take them home and let them climb into a nice soft warm real bed. and read a story to em.

My bestfriend would be a Golden Retriever....lovely and graceful, loyal and undemanding BUT able to protect in a moments notice.

It would be a Great Dane. They always seem so happy no matter what. I think inside they all have a great sense of humor. I don't know why, it's just their expressions.
