Yes, you can. Most employers consider any "discrepancy" in information provided reason enough to let someone go. Most of them won't pass over someone over something minor and trivial. But some would, especially if they're just looking for a reason not to take you (or keep you, if you're already employed).

I doubt it. I've guessed on the dates before for applications, because I just didn't know the exact date. As long as you did work at that location, I don't think you would be denied a job just for that. Good luck though!

You can be denied a job for more important issues; don't worry about that; if you are young (early 20's or so), just apply and don't try to concern yourself about every single date to a tee. Be honest and brief and confident.I would ask why (depending on the type of employer) I wasn't hired.

Not only can you be denied the job, but if you get the job and they find out later you could go to jail. Putting false information in an official document is called fraud.

You can be denied a job cause they dont like the shoes your wearing, your hairstyle, the way you walk, ect.
noone is obligated to hire you.

I sure hope not, cause I can't remember my work history to save my life. I am horrible with the dates. I don't think they hold wrong dates against you, as long as you don't stretch the time you worked there.

Yes, that would be a good excuse to get rid of you if they wanted to. You have no defense if your resume data is incorrect.
