ok if u rele lik him then just go up to him and ask and if he says no then walk away lik it didnt happen but since its ur birthday u should still go up to him and say will u go to the dance with me on my birthday or something lik tht but dont make it sound so obvious

Start with a normal talk them start brining up the dance. if he ends up asking you first, GREAT!!!! if he doesn't, it's still okay. just keep doing that.

put it in writeing form slip a note into his pocket(noticeablely)and smile saying you want to go wit him and what do you think
