I've tried loading pictures from my digital camera to my computer to Yahoo & myspace, and it always says my files are too big, how do I make them smaller?

Use Paint Shop Pro.

1) Open the image.
2) Key in Ctrl-S
3) Choose to shrink the image to say 80%.
4) Save the image.

Voila!

You have to resize them smaller in a Picture graphics program like Paintshop Pro. Paint might resize them but I would download a free program like Irfanview which will resize easy.

You just click Image/Resize and select 50%.

OR

Try double clicking the picture in your Windows browser and see which Paint program brings the picture up and resize from there.

Another vote for Irfan. Free, easy to use, downloadable, and has other interesting tools as well. It's not photoshop, but it'll shrink a picture with just a few key strokes.

view them with a picture viewer and then resize them to
something like 400x600. Save them and then upload them to yahoo.
