sometimes, when I ask a question that says
what do YOU do...instead, people tell me
what I should do. I realize they think they
are trying to help, but I didn't ask for help.
Are they not reading the question, or what?

No no no...some of ya'll are giving me really offensive answers, or not understanding my question. What I mean is...if I say to you...I wear glasses and I like wearing glasses. Which do YOU prefer...glasses or contacts? Why would you answer "why don't you just use both...switch back and forth." It baffles me...it truly does, as does neffy's reply.

I must confess I sometimes scan questions that I feel are too long and may miss the point. I'm sorry if I did that with one of your questions.

Seriously, as a Buddhist and a Vedantist I'm excellent with it, and I more commonly just like the atheists I recognize larger than the theists--even though I do have a pleasant deal of sympathy for the gods, and goddesses, of Olympus. I consider I've most effective ever met one bona fide worshipper of Apollo, and I favored him a pleasant deal. And in lethal earnest, I think, with no need any special evidence of it, that faith (believing in god/s) is a normal position of the human mind that has some thing to do with the identical spontaneous mutation that gave us speech, language and purpose a few thirty-5 thousand years in the past. At least it is obtrusive that language and faith seem at approximately the identical time in human evolution. Funny, it simply happened to me that, with all this musing aloud, I have not recounted that I'm an atheist too--evidence that we atheists are what the Italians name a "herd of cats."

Yeah, I think it's prolly a case of people reading the question wrong or trying to force their advice on you.

Yeah I get those too, like " you need to go do that to yourself" and stuff like that and I think that those are lonely people who are not polite enough to thank you for the two points they stole.

because people love to give advice, even if it's unwarranted. It makes them feel like they are being helpful.
