it keeps overflowing. removed the bowl and manualy actuated it up and down and then the fuel will stop flowing. is there an online schematic on its assembly? also, the float is not leaking.

new needle valve and there is a spring that wraps around the float bowl pin. is that suppossed to apply upward pressure on the valve and then fuel pressure pushes it open?

oh, the float is adjusted to 3/16" just like it's supposed to be.

I don't know the model # of a shovelhead (or any Harley for that matter LOL). Try these guys -

your needle valve is sticking on it's seat, it may be worn out and plus you may have the float level adjusted too high. Next time don't take it apart, just tap the needle valve area with a small wrench or even a rock....

check for a needleseat or bad needle if yours uses them it is what your floats rest on
