It is for a 1985 GMC suburban with a 6.2 liter diesel

Replace it......I've seen what these epoxys do and other quick fixes, don't last worth a squat.... period, maybe if you were getting rid of it, then thats the time to use it since it doesn't last that long.

Replace the radiator..... not cheaper but safer, and if your gonna keep the truck? I wouldn't want to be in the hot summer time, at a stop light and the "quick fix" pop, blow out all the rad fluid and kill the engine, then you'd have more than a radiator to fix.

I have done both over the years , but today, I would get a new radiator and replace it my self. Use new hoses and clamps.
I am not impressed with the workmanship at many of these repair shops.

If it's the original 20+ year old radiator, I would get a new one. It probably won't last much longer & won't flow as well as a new one.

But, a repair probably would be cheaper.

New radiator around $160
Repair around $3

I'd replace it myself. Much safer.

go to auto zone and get some jb weld and fix it,if you mix it right,it wont leak.

definitly new its half plastic repaired dont work very well
