Sadly I was a parent under such circumstances and my children of course felt the stress and anxiety over it. I can understand and can truly sympathize with anyone going through it. You can survive it and you will, but that's hollow comfort for now. It doesnt take away today's pain.

Bummer...Time will help heal. I know that sounds like bs but it does. I don't know how old you are but regardless you have options. My brother went back to our old neighborhood in Atlanta(Forest Park) with intentions of buying the house that he grew up in. It had become a very bad beighborhood and he was afraid to stop(and why would he after seeing the condition of the house). I on the otherhand. I bought ny grandparents house complete with country living, safe neighborhood, no neigbors for a mile and MUCH better memories. Let the storm subside and go from there.

This is sad.....divorce hurts the kids the most.....it will hurt, but I hope in time you do not take sides in the issues and love your parents the same no matter who is wrong or for what reason they split....my thoughts are with you and I wish you well.....

I was the child in those circumstances and I honestly can't really tell you. You just do.
