get one at shar.com for a couple hundred or couple thousand. but really, the best way is to go to your local violin shop. there, you can actually try it out for yourself to see how it sounds. the name is not important in most cases. if it sounds good and feels good, then it fits. each violin is unique and even though they can be called different names, they will definitely not sound the same.

good luck. i've heard of someone buying a violin at a thrift store for 100 bucks. but i don't think you can get a good violin for very cheap. mine costed like 3400 dollars.

buy one at Korea, or order one from there. I got mine brand new (but factory made, but it's a pretty good violin) forabout$500.
