I don't know. I just have it to keep in touch with people I went to school with or worked with. It's fun. I do think that some people are addicted to it.

It doesn't deserve the respect it gets, although the customization is superb. People get 1,000,000,000 ideas for their profile(numbers are more dramatic)and then they share them with other friends, and after a few links in the chain reaction, you have this huge obsession.
I'm on there alot, but I have nothing better to do, and sometimes it doesn't cure my problem.
It gets too much respect.

I think it's the need for teens these days to feel included. A lot of kids are latchkey kids that are raised by the T.V. Their parents are never home with them. They feel alone. They join up on some website and pour their hearts out. Just my two cents.

yeah myspace is cool to post pictures, but i know people who spend all their time on it. i couldn't spend more than 10 minutes before not knowing what else to do.
