I will tell you why no one wants to rent to section 8 people. I had a home I completely remodeled and rented to section 8 renters. They massacred it. There was holes in the walls, carpets ruined, and the ceiling downstairs got ruined from them. They simply moved the furniture to cover it up. The ceiling dried, cracked and peeled after they moved out. Had to start all over again. No more. I am sorry for your situation, but I also understand from the landlords point of view. It is the few that ruin it for the many, as usual. Keep the peoples house clean and improve it, they will give you a good rating when you move. Explain that you will not take advantage of their home. You know they worked hard for it.

when you go house hunting don't' tell you section 8 at first but find out the rent payment is,then explain to home owner you have section 8 and you will be willing for them to pay a visit at your current place of residence to see how you live and how many people will be on the least and don't' forget to mention if you have a job

Actuallt most landlords love section 8. They know for a fact they are getting a certain percentage of the rent every month. Most ads say if they are hud or section 8 if not ask.
