My grandmother got me started on baking soda and peroxide. Mix just enough peroxide into the baking soda to make a paste. It worked great for her and I have tried it and I think it worked just as well as most regular toothpastes I have used. Plus the grittiness of the baking soda helps scrub your teeth and gums! It tastes pretty darn good too! Give it a try. Blessed Be. V-

You can make simple homemade toothpaste adding turmeric powder, cinnamon powder, clove powder, mustard oil and cooking salt. In case you don't have all these stuff, just take little turmeric powder and a pinch of salt and clean your teeth. Turmeric powder alone also makes a good tooth powder. You can make both powder and paste at home. To make paste, mustard oil or any edible oil is needed to be added in to the mixture of various powders. Toothpowder is most preferable.
