Millions of collectibles, appliances, computers, furniture, equipment, vehicles, and other miscellaneous items are listed, bought, and sold daily. Some items are rare and valuable, while many others are dusty gizmos that would have been discarded if not for the thousands of eager bidders worldwide. Anything can be sold as long as it is not illegal or does not violate the eBay Prohibited and Restricted Items policy.[3] Services and intangibles can be sold too. It is fair to say that eBay has revolutionized the collectibles market by bringing together buyers and sellers internationally in a huge, never-ending yard sale and auction.

Nothing, now that many online stores are so much better at obtaining and selling various goods.
Besides, as a seller on ebay, you need to give some % of your sales to ebay. Not a good way to earn money imo.

I have bought many items from ebay. Speakers, for TV and for computer, spurs, keyboards & mouses, exotic snake skins, Goerge Foreman Grill, etc. I don't think I need anything right now though. But if you want to check out my buying history its Freewillykitten.

Lets see right now I am into spandex shorts. My kid needs art supplies. I try to stay as far away from eBay as possible. Spend to much money there.
