if someone has a green thumb it means they are a good gardener. if someone looks at you and your garden and says "you dont have much of a green thumb do you", they are really saying "YOUR GARDEN SUCKSSSSSSSSSS"

It's a saying. When somebody has a green thumb, it means that they have the ability to look after plants really well. Sometimes even bringing a plant back from almost dead. Having a green thumb also means being able to keep plants and trees alive and looking beautiful. Hope that helps.
