Sometimes I think I am a nice person but I would like to be nice most of the time. There are people that seem nice all the time. What do you define as nice? Please don't be nasty, this is an important question to me. I also think I am a b*tch on occassion, what do you define as a b*tch.

empathy is important. you need to have an idea of what your actions are doing to others. But, be aware that no matter how pure you may think you are being, or how much you may feel you are "bending over backwards", someone else may see it different - hence the empathy.

Even asking shows some "nice-ness"! A "B*tch" would not even care - I use my own Idea of what one is - someone who does not care about others.

All we can hope for is to be nica most of the time - but you can never be all the time. Good luck.

It is really hard to be nice all the time. I consider myself a good person, but I know that I can be rude and grumpy at times too. It is impossible for anyone to be nice 100% of the time. But I know those people you are talking about. I had a coworker who was way too giddy and happy all the time, but as it turns out, she was very two-faced. She would just complain or gossip alot behind people's backs. I don't really trust those kinda people. You can tell in their eyes if they are truly nice or not. I'm sure you are just fine. We all can't be the perfect happy person. Just be happy with who you are, and I'm sure everything will be great.

A nice person is someone who does nice things for people. Is tactful and kind. Never complains and is a great listener. Thinks of others before themselves.

A b*tch is a self centered person who complains and hurts others. Someone who doesn't care about those around her. She is just mean.

You may want to consider distinguishing between nice as "polite" and
nice as "looking at for others".

They are two different critters. There are people who use politeness as a
dagger, and terse, apparently irritable people who will go to the ends of
the Earth for you.

I have no use for the former. Yes, I say "please" and "thank you", not because
it was beaten into me from birth, but because it aids the interaction between
me and others.

If somebody tells you that their parent died, you can say "I am sorry for
your loss" and completely not mean it, or you can empathize or you can
make sure that the person has a social infrastructure around them to help
them grieve.

When I think of "nice", I am tempted to think of the Walmart smiling logo.
Cute, but pretty meaningless.

''To be nice most of the time'' needs practice .The practice to purify subconsious mind. We IN FUTURE are governed by the PAST actions Present in the subconcious from ages.its like mud seetled at the bottom. When some thoughts stir the peaceful soul....mud comes up.... settling the mud needs practice .Thats mediatation....! Mediatation and auto suggestions done regularly will make you nicer.
Thumb rule for being nice is'' when happiness around is responded ''This level of mind and soul is difficult to arrive unless it is practiced in a regualrly basis. it is so easy to take pains of others its too difficult to share the happiness of others. The one who can be happy after seeing the happiness of the others is a nice man to me .

Im a very nice person..I truly care about someone's feelings and try to do what I can to see to their happiness. But at times, if someone hurts another person that I care for, I can be a b**ch.. I am protective of what's important to me.

being nice comes from the heart & disposition of a person..everyone has bad days & can be a B**** due to it,(I hate that B word)thats normal though..Its is hard to be nice to those who dont treat you nice back but that is the art of tolerance in society..Life is a lot better when you try to be nice & accomplish that on a daily basis..=)
