He's a person just like the rest of us....capable of making mistakes.....but all lights are on him cause he's famous....So for some reason...people think he should be flawless.....He's isn't the jerk.....the public is.

I don`t think so.
This is how Hitler started ,apart from the drinking LOL, a few anti-semitic rants here and there.A friend beats up a Jew here ,a Jew there and before you know it pow! - he`s Chancellor of Germany and leading his country into war with the civilised world.
Too much is being made of the fact he was drunk and didn`t mean it.BULLSHIT!!!!
For him to have said it out loud ,drink or no drink ,he must already have those kind of beliefs - alcohol cannot change what you already believe it just releases the inhibitions blocking you saying them out loud.
Now I`m not Jewish ,I`m not even a fanatical Catholic like Gibson is but I know when someone is WRONG.
Boycott his films if you want ,it won`t make much difference it`s been several years since he made anything good anyway.
I stopped watching his films a few years ago when he changed history yet again with The Patriot - Braveheart was bad enough for historical innacuracies.

I honestly don't even know what he said. I seldom watch tv so I'm pretty much in the dark about alot of things. lol I do watch my local news channel but I really don't keep up with the celebrities. Because number 1 reason, I really don't care what they do, or who they're dating, or who marries who, or who's having a baby or any of that stuff. But yeah, everyone will make a big deal about it because he's a famous person. Oh well, live in the "public eye" and pay the price of your every word and action being gone over with a fine tooth comb. Maybe those millions are worth it, maybe not.

No. Jewish people are people first and Jews second. We should respect the humanity of every human being and expect celebrities and other role models to set an appropriate example.

I think so! Drunks say all kinds of things they don't really mean. I think the guy has enough to deal with without them jumping on him too. Nothing like kicking a guy for being human.

No, I don't think so. Drunks DON'T say things they don't really mean usually. Alcohol just frees up your tongue and takes away your inhibitions so that you say what you really think deep down inside. Kind of like truth serum. In Mel's case, I think he's got some explaining to do. He messed up BADLY.
