I think you should put your concerns about your weight and shape on the back burner for a while and instead try and get some help with the social isolation issue. Your doctor SHOULD be able to put you in touch with someone who can set you up with a support worker who, for you, I think would be a lifeline. You shouldn't expect a support worker to perform miracles but they give people a touchstone to reality and reason that ebbs away when you isolate yourself. I can't give you any answers to your problems because I don't know you but a support worker could get to know you and would have professional ideas of how to go about helping you keep your chin up and tackle your problems. Your depression needs to be addressed more urgently than your physical state and that's what you should be taking to the doctor.
You're obviously quite an intelligent and articulate person so bear that in mind and consider whether you may be convincing yourself too cleverly that your problems are insurmountable. That's depression at work.

First, never take a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
Second, see a doctor to get diagnosed as to what medication may help.
Third, let me offer an interim suggestion.
Sun and run.
You may have a seasonal affectiveness disorder, as you just don't get enough sunlight.
Exercise also helps in the releasing of endorphins.
Run a mile or so five days a week. You may get an elevated mood.
But you have to commit to this. Only you can decide not to allow yourself to be depressed.

Today I realised that I hate myself so much that if I ever did find true love I would destroy that happiness just to punish myself. Realising this has made me realise I shall be alone forever.
I would reccomend you go out nad have fun more often. I have avoided suicide by being to busy having fun all the time. Go on holiday and buy a cat (or dog, or chimp or whatever), eat a cake and dance to a jolly tune. Make each crappy moment a fun distraction and you have less time to remember how miserable you feel.

Start by walking a few minutes a day. Doing household chores uses up calories too....tidy up your house and vacuum!!! Then walk some more.
After that you'll be ready to join a gym. I used to hate even the word gym...until I joined one and started going 3 - 4 times a week. You feel great afterwards and less tired, fitter and more energetic! Please try it if you can....only YOU can do this for yourself!.

Why haven't you seen a doctor about this?
He/she can help you more than any of us here can.
