The unit was low on freon so we charged it. It is now at 40 on the guage which is appropriate. But it is still blowing warm air. We have now noticed that the clutch is not turning on the pulley.
The compressor was kicking on and off before we charged it and the clutch pulley was turning.
What should we do next?

Take it to a shop the clutch is activated through the ecm . So do not try testing the pressure switchs etc.

It is possible that one of the pressure switches in the line could be faulty. It is also possible that you could have overcharged it. It could be several things going on. The best thing to do is take it to a reputable mechanic who knows how to work on auto air conditioners.
P.S. les.........the clutch does not activate through the ECM.
