I would recommend a serious skin cleaning regimen. If your red spot is among black heads you aren't cleaning your skin much at all..
Hot showers and a rough scrubber ALL over will help clear up these problems. Do this everyday in every shower. Also a healthy diet will make huge strides in improving your skin. Stop all the junk food and sweets, and eat veggies and lots of fruits.

I would not recommend popping your pimples it does leave scars. Just let them go away by themselves.

To loosen blackheads:
combine equal parts baking soda and water in your hand and rub gently on your skin for 2-3 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

To refresh face and prevent acne:
blend cucumber and make paste. Apply this as a mask on face and leave it for about 1/2 hour and then rinse.

To dry pimples:
first wash face with warm water only then dab acne with cotton soaked in vinegar.

To make face firm:
mash up a very ripe banana, add just enough honey to make a soft pulp, apply over face. Let dry and then wash off with warm water.

My 13 year old daughter uses these home made remedies and they work for her, I hope they work for you. She got them from a website but she is not here so that I may ask her the name of the website.

You should see a Dr. about the bumps because it may be the start of a skin infection--especially in the summer-
You can try caladryl--i think it is a pink cream that you put on inflamations to subtle the itch--you can also use a cream like that on your zits...try witch hazel on your skin- it is a natural toner
