If you use any of these websites that the others are posting, you are opening yourself to a lot of trouble. and I am not talking about getting busted for illegal downloading (thought that is true too).
If you use these website you are opening yourself up to be hacked by script kiddies. Some of the songs you download could contain hidden programs that will open your computer up to all kinds of viruses and/or spyware.
Some hackers use spyware to record your keystrokes so if you do any online purchasing, banking whatever, they can record your pin numbers, credit card numbers, just about whatever they want.
My advice is to stay safe and stay aware from these sites.
Free can sometimes comes with a very high price.

Limewire.com. My kids love it and you can find anything and it's free. As far as it being illegal everyone has it, just be careful. And if you try to download it and it won't it may be if you have norton anti-virus it may try to prevent you from downloading it. Just disable norton, right click it at the bottom of your screen where norton symbol is and remember to enable it when your done. Good Luck!!

Be sure to go with basic, and not pro.
And after you download, go to the media library and right click, and hit stop sharing files.
If you're caught sharing, then your busted.
My brother told me that and he was a volunteer police person. lol
