I would especially like to hear from mothers who have done this. I don't want to judge my friend. I can't see anything positive about it but I am trying to keep an open mind.

Nooooo, it isn't sexual. They just sleep.

She said that this is happening all the time but no one talks about it because of all the negative judgement.

I am trying to find out if it really does happen all the time.

*shrug* Not really. My dad has to go for like a week once in a while and my mom is lonely so she asks me to sleep in her bed with her. Nothing happens, it's just like, good night, and there's another heartbeat in the room.

But I'm a girl, so that might be different.

it is not normal and not good for any adolescent to be sleeping with the parent of the opposite sex or either parent as far as that goes. that is creepy and nasty on so many levels. the only exception to that would be if the boy had had surgery or something like that and she needed to watch over him during the night.

I think its really weird. I mean think about it. She raised him from when was just born and then 13 years later... And most parents have a problem with their sons having sex at 13, its bad enough to encourage it but thats just wrong..

thats one of the most sickest things ive ever heard in my life. theres a theory in psychology called the edipus* complex and it states that every man wants to sleep with there mother and kill there father. but most therapists disregard that.

wait....hang on a second...is it sleep as in sex or sleep as in sleep? maybe u should clarify that before u ask the question bc a lot of ppl think u mean sex. if its the sleep sleep kind then its ok. but if its sex then thats ^^^^^^^^

Is it an ongoing issue? I don't feel it is the right thing to do. Generally children are ready for the own bed at a young age, this person is a teenager.I wouldn't do that myself.

yes there is unless there is something seriously wrong with tha boy.the 13 year old boy should sleep in his own bed and not with his mother. and in some cases i dont see nothing wrong with it ok sweetie . you need to watch out for your mother because she can go to jail for that

She is creating a pedophile. This boy may well be sleeping with his daughters one day. Are you OK with THAT? What about if he is acquainted with your family still in the future and he decides one of your granddaughters or grandsons is fair game? Are you OK with that?

Ye-ah it is. That's not normal at all. It indicates a lot of insecurity and immaturity. The mother is not helping that child any by allowing it.

If you meen like once, because something happened, like someone else was sleeping in his room or something then no. But if it is on a nightly basis, there is an issue.
