My bf was wondering. Ours has gotten quite huge. We've had it since it was small ...maybe 2 years or a little less.

Under perfect water conditions, angels can live up to 15 years and will spawn until they are around 12. They will start at about a year. Best thing to do is get a group of 6-8 and let them pair off naturally.

Angelfish can and do reach 12" from top of dorsal to bottom of ventral. At this size, they will suck down any small fish they can catch.

I am currently raising 10 white gold crown angels. They are approaching 10 months of age and two have already laid eggs. They ate them the next day, but that is to be expected with young fish in a group. As they get older, they will get better and tend the eggs and raise the young. It may take a couple of starts to get it right, though.
