I have thought about an interchange in Canada for four weeks, going to Vancouver. I would like to know about some places I could visit and how the beach is there. If people are "receptive" and some clues about them.
Could someone help me?

Vancouver is a wonderful city!
It is absolutely beautiful, there is a huge mix of ethnicities and cultures here, and lots to do.

The beaches are super, Stanley Park, which is a huge Urban park, has all kinds of walking and biking trails, including a very long one around the water edged by a seawall. There is an aquarium, swiming pool (outdoors, right next to the beach), and horse-drawn trolleys to tour the park, as well as many other cool things to see and do.

There are lots of museums, great shopping areas (gastown, commercial drive, chinatown, robson street); tours on the water, as well as around the city., You will never regret visiting Vancouver!! And if you have the time and resources, take a ferry to Victoria for a day or a weekend!!

I have found the people plenty friendly and open here, as much as you get in a large city. Also ... if you are interested in such things, there are a lot of movies, films and TC programs filmed here.
Some recent ones are Cat Woman, RV, and grr, cant think at the moment, but there is a thriving film industry here.

People in canada are as a rule more polite than in the US..there are many fine beaches surrounding the city..there is a huge nude beach "wreck beach" around the bottom of the University of BC....It's a very beautiful city...go to granville island for the day...walk the seawall around stanley park...its beautiful....there's so much to do here...I've been here 57 years and I never wanted to leave, even though I worked 31 years for an international airline...I always came back here.
Victoria is a lot quieter and a lot more boring..depends what you want.

What time of year are you considering? Summer in Canada is prime time, and there are great beaches, both on the coast (both Atlantic and Pacific) and inland, on the lakes. Okanagan Lake,in British Columbia, has fabulous beach areas on its 100km long lake.
If you want anyone to seriously consider an interchange (and they are great!) you'll have to give a little more information -- like your location. Dedonde ustede?

When you get to Vancouver - immediately get on a Bus to Victoria. Vancouver has a Garlic smell about it and the large mindless City is overwhelming.
Have a great time in Victoria.
