I'm looking for a book?

Question

I don't remember the title and I think the author is Michael Moorcock, but I could be wrong.
It's a story about time travel and the protagonist begins his adventure in the Hymalayas in a cave where there are elaboratly decorated "doors". Once he enters a door he comes out on the other side in a different time.
Each time period is an adventure in getting back to the Hymalayas to that same spot.

Sounds like it might be Michael Moorlock's "The Warlord of the Air."

Have you tried www.abebooks.com I searched under Moorcock and there are a ton of titles. Not sure which one might be yours.
