maybe start with a question like "mom, do you think my legs are hairy" and if she says yes then ask her but if she says no then tell her that you think they are hairy and you want to look nice so you would like to shave

It depends on how old you are. My daughter started shaving this year at age 13 very close to 14. I did not want her to do it, but she did have a valid point---- I had done it when I was 12. I say talk to your mom about what her rules are and what she thinks. Every parent has different ways to handle things. Please dont get upset about her decision, try to understand her if she says no. Ask her to explain to you why not, if that is what she decides and just ask her then what age she thinks you can do and be patient.

I just did it, I started when I was like 11. I didn't need to though, I did it out of boredom. Unless you need to shave them, don't do it. Because once you start, you can't stop. If you have clear hairs that you can only see when the sun shines on them, don't shave because then they'll grow back black and you will have to continue shaving the rest of your life!! Just tell her you think it's time to shave and you're not sure how you're supposed to.

I guess the best way is to just go "mom, when can i start shaving?"
I did it without telling my mom...but she never said anything about it, so i guess it all depends on how your mom reacts to things.... good luck

It took me forever. But whatever you do, make sure you get her permission first. My mom wouldn't let me so I started doing it anyways and just wearing pants around her to cover it up. But after I had been doing it for about a year, she found out. It was not a pleasant experience.
