Homosexuality is a sin. God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

Certainly Not.
To begin with, the following arguments do not apply as religion-based, as they directly conflict with the biblical notions of Adam and Eve, the Garden of Eden and God making the world in Seven days.
- That it is an abomination against our natural or "wild" impulses
- That we are biologically meant to "breed" and should be led by associated urges
- That no other animals have same sex relations (really? What about Dolphins, Elephants or any Hermaphrodite species?)
Such arguments imply a kind of natural evolution, or natural order of things. If you take this argument you either imply that we evolved (anti-creationist) or that we should live in a "natural" state all the time (as God intended). By arguing the latter, you are basically stating that we should all live in a primitive manner, eat only organic or "natural" foods, wear only natural fibres, not pierce our ears or wear makeup etc. So unless you live as the Amish (not necessarily a bad thing) you cannot make that particular argument... and since you are online, I can easily asume that the case is none of you live in this way, and it would therefore be hypocritcal of you to make this argument.
Further, non-religious arguments based on our need to "breed" can easily be rebutted with the fact that we need to lower the population world-wide if we are to maintain this planet in a liveable condition.
Finally on a purely scientific basis, during sex both parties have more chance of reaching orgasm through homosexual intercourse than both a man and a woman reaching orgasm through heterosexual sex. If you want a biological argument FOR homosexuality, that one is pretty compelling. if homosexuality was so "wrong", surely such pleasure could not be possible...
You could always claim that God made it pleasurable as a challenge, however, if you enjoy chocolate, hot showers, or even heterosexual sex, again you are being a hypocrite by stating homosexuality is wrong on this count.
Basically, any argument you can make which is Christianity-based can be rebutted as hypocrisy. Other arguments are not so easy to defeat, but if they are posed, I will do my best ;)

Honey, the Bible says eating shellfish in an abomination. When was the last time you ate shrimp, lobster or crab?
It also says that people who work on Sundays should be killed; that parents have the right to sell their children into slavery and that you cannot wear clothes that are a blend of textiles. You know that cute poly-cotton blend shirt in your closet? Burn it! Its against the Bible!
You just can't sit there and pick and choose. The Bible was obviously wrong on things like slavery - why couldn't it be wrong here too?
Homosexuality is not a choice, it is genetically linked. That has been proven recently in DNA mapping. Therefore, if it biological, it was created by God.
We have a 50% divorce rate in this country. Mark 10:11 states, "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her." This is directly breaking one of the Ten Commandments. How about we look at our own relationships as hetrosexuals before we start butting our noses into other people's lives, especially people who just want to be allowed to live their lives in peace?
Real love, no matter who it is between, is precious and is God's greatest gift.

Well little missy, I think you need to do some research... Being homosexual is not a choice someone makes, you can say all day long that it is.. But tell me something... When did you realize you were heterosexual?..... Do you think someone just woke up one morning and said... "I like so and so gender" When you can answer THAT question, then tell me how someone who is 11 thinks that she knows exactly how the bible is suppose to be interpreted, and what everything is suppose to mean.... Im sorry but you don't.... Also it's not polite to ask a question and then fire back at them for their opinion.. It's just not.. thankyou for your time..

I don't believe in God anymore... I don't know how anyone could in these days... and I don't think homosexuality is wrong. Why is it wrong? Is it wrong that you're attracted to someone of the opposite sex? You can't help who you're attracted to. I don't want to see gay people in the streets making out or anything, but be with who you love, don't worry about what everyone thinks... especially "God"

I think that its hard enough to find someone to love, and who cares what gender they are.... the god issue.. Kindof confuses me.. Ive always been taught to beleive that God is real, and that homosexuality is an obomination against mankind, and that they WILL go to hell.. But I really just don't know... Im pretty sure that the bible is misinterpited (sp?) in alot of ways... what you think means one thing.. may mean something totally different..... think about the story of god turning the girl into a grain of salt for looking at the destroyed city...??... Do you really see a girl turning into salt?... it may mean she broke her leg or something?? haha

are you God?
No one knows what God thinks--
People who are homosexual do not, for the most part choose it. Do some research, and read some medical journals then ask the question after you have educated yourself on the subject matter.

can you provide an exact quote from the bible where god or jesus said 'homosexuality is a sin'? because i'm pretty sure everything about homosexuality in the bible comes from the mouths of men. or maybe you're referring to the 11th commandment: thou shalt not be gay. or that time jesus said 'i will make you fishers of men. except gays, cause my dad, god, thinks their an abomination'.
stop using the bible to hide behind your prejudices. if you hate gays, say so. but don't put words in god's mouth. i'm pretty sure he can speak for himself.

I don't agree with homosexuality, nor do I dis agree with it. I feel that people who choose to be gay, desearve all the same repect as ppl whom are straight. I just dont agree with those who express it in public, but i dont agree with straight people who express there sexuality in public. I think for the sake of society sexuality of any sort beyond holding hands should be a crime. You don't need young children seeing 2 gay women or men for that matter kissing and such in a public place, all thoguh it is normal its not for children to see...same as straight couples, you dont want your children to see a bnch of ppl making out, and doing other sexual things in public, its just not for the eye of children. Overall, i don't think homosexuality is wrong, but i do believe it shold be kept behind doors.

I think it's wrong, but we should just not mess with the homosexuals because it's simply their choice. Leave them alone nothing is gonna happen to you.
