Yes, sad it had to come to "what goes around, comes around". It seems they have lowered themselves to Israel's level, but I doubt that Hizballah will manage to kill more than 1000 innocent civillians, in such a short time that Israel has managed to accomplish.

Yes, Israel's weapons are not as primitive and much more effective at killing innocent civillians in much larger numbers.

This is not to minimize the Israeli's danger, but their roads, their supply of food and bomb shelters, and communications are all intact. I am amazed that I have never seen it argued that N. Israeli's who are killed or wounded should have been evacuated or should have left on their own. Most would clearly be able to leave danger zone, if they wanted, in contradistinction to the bombed out, devastated Lebanese. Martin Fletcher's recent report showed Israelis exhibiting a lot of bravado, waiting it out in clean shelters, getting hair cuts, and even doing business totally as usual just slightly to the south of Hezbollah's missile range. So I would say Israel's citizens are not in very much danger as a result of this war, but I would not like to be there now. At the same time, it's pure hell in much of Lebanon, there is no clearly safe area anywhere in the country, and there is now no exit.

Although Israeli spokespeople have justified the killing of Lebanese women and children by claiming that Hezbollah fighters use their families and homes as shields, I agree that this is a self serving rationalization -- chosen because it resonates with the American people, but not a real reason or a sufficient justification for the ferocity and scope of Israel's attacks. People here seem to believe this shields theory-- it tested well on Sunday talk shows a couple of weeks ago, I think. Earlier claims, "Israel must defend herself" and Israel does not "deliberately" target civilians, have been replaced by the human shield/cowardly Arab justification. This article confirms my suspicion that there really is a propaganda machine behind American attitudes, and reporting. It's shocking that no mention is being made of the censorship. Americans would understand the need for censorship during time of war, so this is the best evidence of intent to manipulate; to have their version accepted without reservation.

yeah just like the massacre happened yesterday 200 miles deep in the north of lebanon where there's no existance for any military neither hezbollah nor army F-16s striked at farmers were collecting peaches from a farm and killed 40 of them ...which shields they are ..what did they shield ?? the trees ??? u people just don't understand that ur media is lying to you ..just like what happened back in 1996 when israel killed 103 civilians 70 of them are children and it happened at the UN headquartes as the civilians escaped from their village to avoid being killed from continous airstrikes and they were sheltered by the UN where there's no existance for any armed members (except the UN) and they were killed ....you poeple are not bad u are just blind and u don't see the truth ...how come it's 24 days of war now 1000 civilians are dead in lebanon while hezbollah didn't even reach 50 dead why ?? simply because they are far away from where the fighters are striking ...and that proves how much blood thristy the israelians are ......for god sake do some real research before posting that BS here .....
