Here where we play, I have never seen anyone use a wooden bat.

slow pitch softball means youre either a girl or an old person because youre not playing baseball. why would you want to use a wood bat?

Depends on the league. I think you would be at a disadvantage if you do use one though. Aluminum bats are pretty high tech these days.
