I'm 5ft2 and I don't mind being short at all. My hubby is 6ft2 and it's funny how I only come up to his chest lol. The only problem for me sometimes is, because I'm short with wide hips, if I don't wear the right cothes, I think I can look a bit stocky. And yes it would be nice to have great long legs, but apart from that, I love being only 5ft2!

Mostly I like it; guys think it is cute.
The worst thing is finding trousers and jeans that fit in the legs; I only buy jeans when cropped-leg styles are in.
Also, not being able to reach things is a nuisance. I have entire shelves and cupboards in my house that have never been used.
If you are short with big or even average boobs, they will constantly hit tabletops, keyboards, photocopiers, sinks and so on the minute you bend over. This is a pain.

You have to have everything tailored.Petite-sized clothing that is fashionable is often higher-end and more expensive,but these pieces sometimes need tailoring,too!You also cannot wear horizontal stripes,bold prints,too much embellishments,or you are overpowered by your clothes.Otherwise,being petite sometimes means you have a hard time reaching things on higher shelves.Some dim-witted ignoramuses do not treat petite people with respect,equating being small with being stupid or child-like.Those are some reasons to dislike one's small stature,but being petite isn't all bad!I'm 5'2" tall and most of the time don't think about my height.

Simbaholic youre funny. lol Well Im 19 and Im 4'11". Im proud and happy that Im short quite frankly. lol I dont think its a disadvantage to being short. A lot of guys find it cute :)

I'm 5' and been that way for ten years. I love it!
The only downside is buying pants...even the "short" length is too long.

I'm 5'5" and I'm very short compared to a lot of people but I love it, especially cause I'm also very petite.

I dont know why some dont but I absolutley love it I am 4'9 and I weigh like 80 pounds

i love to be short. i'm 5'2" and i love it. i love to weigh in the double digits. i have big feet though :) size 9.
also i love to not have to wear a bra. i think large breasts are gross, IMHO, unless you have surgery every few years to lift them up. otherwise it looks a little like the discovery channel.

Because they get made fun of and it's hard to find clothes that flatter your body. I'm 4'11 1/2"....I should know.
