Hi, That maybe a virus, but not must a virus, Dont open the file you don't familar. Perhaps you can try Norton or Mcafee to remove the virus, but you should pay for the software.
i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar, which can disable the virus, becasue the virus can only run on IE.
firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and spywareware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:

Hey..
Video clips won't come with an .exe extention.
It could be an installer, but most likely a virus. My advice: Delete it.
Then my friend, goto www.narutocentral.com and download the latest Naruto episode from there. If it's an old episode, then goto www.youtube.com and search for the episode you want and enjoy watching it.
PS. Naruto kicks ***. I saw all 190 episodes from www.youtube.com in a few days only! Very addictive lol!

If it is supposed to be a video clip and ends with .exe, then it is probably a virus or other form of malware.
Any unsolicited email containing a file that ends in exe should not be opened.

If your antivirus is up to date, just scan your EXE file before opening it: it will tell you if it's just a clip or a clip with a virus (surely a trojan horse)

I would never open an exe file if it was pretending to be a film clip!

If a file has .exe on the end, it's not necessarily a virus, although some viruses will be in files that contain .exe. I think that .exe files are programs...

It's a virus. 99.9% sure. Check the file size of the file. It should be in t he hundreds of megabytes, not small at all. .vbs files are generally bad also.

you can have Norton or another Anti virus program scan it for you prior to opening it, but probably its a virus. A video file could be .avi, .mov, .asf, .dvx, .mpeg, etc. but .exe is an execution to run a program.

.exe are program files. They execute when you click on them. If they represent themselves as a clip, you have a Trojan there.
