No, because anyone can just go and buy an eyepatch, hook, and wooden leg. Now, if you had acquired these things from amputations, etc. after prolonged battles at sea, stealing from others, scurvy, fighting, and other general pirate-y stuff; then, yes, I suppose that would constitute pirate-hood.

Despite common misconception, the only recorded pirate with a Hook was the Ficional Cpt James Hook from the JM Barrie book "Peter Pan". As far as history can tell, there are no others with a hook.

Also, a pirate with a patch does not necesarily have one eye, as the patch could have served as protection while they used their dangerous guns.

Anyway, you cant be a pirate unless you say Arrr! (or Darr! would be acceptable)

Well if you didn't deserve to be a pirate after all that hard work it would be fairly unfair wouldn't it!

What about your buccaneers? Would they be on your bucanead?

Sounds like a butchers table to me mate. The eye patch isn't really an eye patch you lied about that.
